MEET KYLE
Oil painter, memory-keeper, and lifelong lover of light, color, and connection.
Oil painter, memory-keeper, and lifelong lover of light, color, and connection.
I currently live in Vero Beach, Florida. I was born and raised in Rhode Island, where my love for painting began at a very young age. I've always had a passion for putting paint to canvas and bringing scenes and emotions to life.
I was struck by the deep love people have for their pets and what it means to them to preserve that love. That inspired me to start painting pet portraits - capturing, not just the likeness but the essence and personality of these cherished companions.
I painted this for my daughter’s birthday — her golden retriever, her best friend. ‘Happy Birthday Sweetheart’ is my way of freezing that moment in time. It’s a reminder of why I paint: to hold on to what matters most.
Alongside pet portraits, I also enjoy painting landscapes, seascapes, and historic sites, using oils to capture every detail. One of the guiding principles I live by as an artist is a motto shared by many great painters:
To me, that means beginning with bold, expressive strokes and refining down to the finest details that bring a painting to life.
Pieces of My Heart
My daughter — my reason, my rhythm, my heart. She’s the motor behind it all.
